Designed for completing numerous tests in your shop, this analog alignment tool will allow you to test your table saw alignment, fence alignment, saw, router and drill press arbor run out, set jointer knives, saw blade run out and much more. The alignment provides accurate measurements on any steel (cast iron) machine with a standard miter slot (3/8 Inch x 3/4 Inch). The magnetic miter bar holds the tool tight against the edge of the miter slot, while still allowing for sliding movement up and down the miter slot to check fence alignment to miter slot or saw blade to the miter slot. The easy to read, 2 hand indicator gives you readings in .01, .001 inch or fractional increments. It has a 1 Inch range, will read to within 0.001 Inch. The indicator has a 3/8 inch hole on the back mount and can be used with all alignment tools such as height gauges and magnetic base holders that use a standard dial indicator
