IDEA Engineering offers high-quality tools and astronomy accessories at exceptionally reasonable prices. We consistently have everything in stock, unless stated otherwise. We ship within 1-2 business days of receiving your order. For small items, we usually ship via USPS first class or Priority. On larger items, Fedex is used, but UPS or DHL can be requested.
Most items on our site have free shipping to anywhere in the US. Only items that are exceptionally large or heavy have an extra shipping fee. If you are ordering from overseas, please feel free to ask for a shipping quote or simply check out and we can send you an invoice for the cost of overseas shipping via Paypal.
If your items arrive damaged or have any issues, we are happy to replace or work with you until you are satisfied. There is no charge for the return or replacement of a defective item. With the quality of the items we sell, this is a rare occurrence. We do allow returns up to 14 days of purchase, but return shipping is to be paid by the buyer. There is also a 10% restocking fee to cover our cost of shipping, card fees, and conversion of the unit to a used item.
We currently accept Paypal for all transactions and direct credit cards for US transactions done through Square. You do not need to have a Paypal or Square account to check out.
