  • Leroy Starrett invented the combination square in 1877, and it has become an essential tool for every craftsman. Starrett squares include a cast iron head with a black wrinkle finish, a handy spirit level, and a hardened scriber. The satin chrome finish blade is 4R engraved in 8ths, 16ths, 32nds, and 64ths with a reversible lock bolt that allows the blade to be turned over or end-for-end without removing the lock bolt or nut.
