A matched set of Stile and Rail cutters from Whiteside Machinery is just what you need to create cabinet doors on your router table. These router bits work with stock from 5/8" to 7/8" thick to create an interlocking edge profile while milling a 1/4" groove to accept your door panel. One bit cuts the edge profile into both the stiles (side pieces) and rails (top/bottom pieces). The other bit mills the ends of the rails ( known as a cope cut) to make an interlocking fit with the stiles that provides lots of glue surface area for the joint, thus creating a very sturdy door frame.
Ball bearings control the cut depth and allow use on curved and round top arched doors. The Shank size is 1/2".
